New Stellastarr* Single and the IT Crowd
Ahh, I've had a lovely self-imposed spring break. Mowing and weed pulling and the first BBQ of the year. I've been painting a bit. Here's what I did Tues. during Scrubs and Less than Perfect (Tuesdays at 9:30 on ABC!):

I LOVE Stellastarr*!! It's called gushing, and that's how you do it. Every new song of theirs becomes my favorite.
Mandy the bass player sings for a good long time in the middle which I believe is a first. She's usually just back-up.

Also, I've been watching this british TV show called "The IT Crowd" because I'm an IT guy and the show is about IT guys. Man I laughed a lot. It's British so it's cheesy, but the boss is really funny and the bits over the end credits are worth seeing the whole show for.
At the least, watch the first one so you get the jist of it, and then watch the fourth one (The Red Door) because that Goth guy who lives in their server room is hilarious.
Man I'd love to be cast in the American version of this (ATTN producers, I did play Nathan Detroit in my college production of Guys and Dolls. I would later marry the stage manager.)

"Less Than Perfect" Back on the Air!
I have an un-ironic love of the TV Sitcom "Less Than Perfect" and now it's back on T.V.!! Now I have something to watch after Scrubs! I loathe excuses to sit instead of create, but I gotta support this silly but cute show.

Stellastarr* is Awesome!!!
Seriously though. Stellastarr* was amazing! Jaime and I danced and danced. I just know the lead singer was checking Jaime out. She was dancing! Not just swaying and tapping her foot. She was just feeling it and dancing. She hyped everyone else up and after My Coco, everyone was jumping around and freaking out! The band was really feeling it and they showed it. They stepped it up and finished strong.
We got them after a day off, which is usually means a good performance. Also, the Norva has a hot tub and steam room in the dressing rooms, so maybe that helped hype them up.
They really put on an awesome show.
And since Jaime was dancing so hard, the band threw her one of their drumsticks! I mean, I can't claim they were trying to throw it specifically to Jaime; but, I'm convinced they were rewarding her for dancing the WHOLE show. Nice work Jamz, you deserve it.

On the drive home I had to pick up corn meal. Then get home. Whip up cornbread, reheat the soup from yesterday, eat, clean up, and head to the Stellastarr* show at the Norva:

A-mazing albums! A-mazingly good songs.
One of the best shows I've ever seen.
After the Stellastarr* show, we went over to Granby Street to Empire for a few Tapas dishes. We had Sesame Seared Tuna (just like we watched Alton make on Good Eats just hours before!)

Ummmm, TBS, 10:30PM Eastern, this is the worst Family Guy episode I've seen yet. I only catch them here and there, and this one is undoing so much of the enjoyment I've ever had from this show. Episode #309, you killed this show for me. This show is dead to me, Colbert style.
