Subject: Franz at NUMBER 1 in the charts!!!
Hello everyone!
This is some good and bad news from Franz Ferdinand, but you can turn
that all around.
Fot those of you that did not know, or didn't believe the rumours, you
can now hear it from us. Franz have been placed at no.2 in the midweek
Top 40 chart count all week, until NOW. Kelis has jumped ahead of us,
but only by 140 ish sales. Seriously, 140 extra copies!
Michelle from Pop Academy Idol (whatever) is at number 1 and making her
owners very happy. Things have become very crazy with Franz Ferdinand
recently, it could only become history in the making for our little
band on a tiny TRULY independent label like Domino to hit number 1.
We all know it's possible to download the track and therefore we let
you download our FIRST single off the site but it would be so great if
everyone on this mailing list grabbed an actual copy. The CD is ?1.99
and the 7" is only 99p. What are you waiting for? BUY! BUY! BUY!
(before Saturday please) and then we will invite as many of you as we
are allowed to Top Of The Pops. If everyone that has downloaded Darts
Of Pleasure went out and bought Take Me Out then we would be number
1!!!
ps: No members of this band have ever been double glazing salesmen.
